Today I helped to distress and age jesses chair which goes in Gregors room. I used different shaped files to wear away at the wood, I concentrated on the legs where I wore the wood away to make it look like it had been knored at. I also created a little bit of a woodworm effect on one of the legs where I wore away at the wood using files and then used a nail and hammer to make little holes. I then used the wire brush to scratch the wood and the fabric. Eleanor made the deep scratches on the chair back and I filed the sides to give another knoring effect.
